The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Department at Lira University plays a pivotal role in driving digital transformation across the institution. As a central support unit, the department is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and maintaining all ICT infrastructure and services to ensure seamless Academic, Administrative, and Research operations.
With a team of skilled staff, the department has distributed the staff members across the University buildings to provide timely technical support in order to contribute to the University’s vision of being a center of Academic and Professional excellence in Science, Technology, and Innovation.
Providing reliable and secure ICT services to support teaching, learning, and research.
Maintaining University networks, systems, and databases.
Ensuring cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance with national ICT standards.
Supporting users through helpdesk services and continuous ICT training.
